At Valor, we have created a program that opens up the door to independent contractors to work with us. We are looking to partner with the best in the industry, and have created a win-win solution for everyone involved. 

What we do.

Our Valor Advantage program is well suited for homeowners who are interested in selling a home that needs work and are looking for a company that can handle everything from start to finish. Our unique and creative real estate solutions enable homeowners to fix up and sell their home without needing to come up with any cash out of pocket. We work in collaboration with the homeowner, conducting a CMA (current market analysis), and home evaluation to determine the current value of the property. This information is provided to the homeowner and if it qualifies, Valor Advantage will guarantee the price the homeowner will receive once the home is sold.  Valor fronts all of the money needed for expenses including remodeling the home, real estate closing costs and transaction fees.

How it works.

At Valor Advantage we understand and appreciate the value that a Contractor brings to the table, and we have put together projects that are worthwhile for a contractor to take on.  As a contractor, you have the opportunity to view the full scope of work, the schedule, and finances before you decide whether or not to take the job. We have already factored in the labor, material, and overhead, and we show the profit margin you can expect.  Rest assured, we are in the business of bidding jobs and our thoroughness means accurate estimates and realistic profits. So what does this look like?

  1. The contractor will be contacted by our operations department and asked if they are interested in a particular job.  

  2. They will be given a contractor packet which contains all the information about the project including:

A.  Location of the project and a general description of of the work needing to be done

B.  A detailed scope of work

C.  A full set of prints detailing all of the construction plans, utilities, specifications and selections for the project

D.  A general project schedule

  1. If the contractor accepts the project, they will meet with the Director of Operations and work out all of the specific details for the project. This includes things like: specific project schedule, invoicing and payment schedule, down payments, sub contractors, material handling, shipments, clarification on plans, etc.  

  2. Once the project is completed the contractor will be paid in full within 10 days.
